Gender Pay Gap Report – 4th April 2018
The gender pay gap regulations require employers with 250 or more employees to publish their relevant statistics within 12 months after 5th April 2017. Our snapshot relates to April 2017. The regulations require us to publish six key pay gap figures comparing male and female pay.

We are proud of the results of our analysis and are pleased to report that our male to female ratio is increasing. Historically the cleaning industry was women dominated, but Floorbrite can report an increase in males joining the industry. This is driven by the industry becoming a much more diverse and exciting place to be involved in, added to this, there are now such a variety of service facilities which any individual can have a career in.
Floorbrite is committed to reducing any pay gaps and will not become complacent in its outlook and therefore will continue to take actions to address any gaps through wider policies and activities.
Naturally because of our industry TUPE, (Transfer of Undertakings for the Protection of Employees) applies which means when employees transfer due to retender or a contract is awarded to a new company, by employment law, we have to maintain pay rates and therefore we are restricted to having the opportunity to address a pay gap should there be one.
This statement confirms that the published information is accurate and in accordance with the provisions of The Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) regulations 2017 and has been signed by our HR Director.
