What you’ll be doing
Responsibilities
- Ensure all cleaning is delivered to expected standards as per specification, and in accordance with all health and safety protocols.
- Ensure all equipment, machinery and vehicles are kept clean and in a good working order
- Report any issues with machinery or equipment to the Support Services Manager or Health, Safety & Compliance Director
- Present a good professional image on-site
- Completing site surveys along with site survey forms
- Liaising with sub-contractors and suppliers as necessary
§ To clean and prepare all areas for which you are responsible for following the required policies and procedures, ensuring that the location is clean, pleasant, and safe for customers
§ Supporting the on-site cleaning teams on various sites by way of covering sickness, holidays, general knowledge of checking over machinery and having the ability to check and audit the cleaning under the instruction of the Area Manager
§ To comply with COSHH, Manual Handling, Risk Assessment, Colour Coding and any other Cleaning Policies in the Academy and relevant sites.
What skills & experience you’ll bring to the team
· Knowledge and use of high-speed buffing machines/strip and sealing
· Experience of managing people and Industrial cleaning would be an advantage.
- Clean driving licence (minor points considered).
- Strong people management organisational and good clear communications skills.
- Attention to detail and high standards of work of themselves and their team.
- An understanding of Health and Safety at Floorbrite and working with Risk and Method Statements.
- Experience in Builders Cleans, Industrial Jet Washing, Carpet Cleaning, Strip and Seals.
- External and Internal training courses will be provided to the right candidate, but a current CSCS card would be beneficial.
