What you’ll be doing
Responsible for the management of soft services successfully delivering the operational and financial targets of contracts, ensuring full adherence to customers terms of business, service level agreement s and industry regulations
To manage the overall delivery of the United Utilities contract in accordance with contract agreements, client requirements.
To be a motivational leader to the team ensuring delivery of first-class service in line with Floorbrite values providing vision, inspiration, clarity and drive
Responsibilities
§Develop and retain successful working relationships with key client stakeholders
§Regularly review performance standards which deliver client and customer expectations
§To ensure the audits are fully completed with results over the business KPI’s taking the necessary actions to turnaround underperforming sites
§To ensure customer retention is met in line with company KPI’S
§Ensure payroll is accurate & completed in a timely manner
- Responsibility for contract /cleaner performance to achieve and exceed contract SLA and KPI
§Provide support to the Service Delivery Manager/Operations Director by advising on compliance in relation to operational activities/ risks impacting on same
§Provide regular and one-off reports to the Service Delivery Manager/ Operations Director and clients as required
§Identify issues or risks that will impact the contract
§To ensure that all customer escalations are dealt with in a timely and effective manner
§To ensure that the Company Health and Safety Policy is properly implemented and adhered to
§To ensure all HR and Employee relations issues are managed in accordance with the company HR Policies and in consultation with an appropriate HR representative, recognising and valuing diversity in all cases
- The ability to multitask and make sound business decisions in compliance with safety protocols.
- Maintenance of site reference manuals at all sites including Health & Safety documentation, COSHH, data sheets and Risk Assessments, signing in/out and communication books.
- Client Relationship management with key focus on service delivery, retention, and contract growth
- Management of all directly employed staff, including recruitment and selection, training, performance management and staff retention.
- Stock Control- Ensuring that all sites have correct stock levels and products on site within budget.
- Attend training and meetings as required.
- Implementation of all company policies and procedures with the guidance from /senior Area Manager / Regional Manager/Operations Manager and HR Department
- Ensure timesheets are completed within budget and correct. In the event of incorrect entries disputes to be resolved.
- Contact point for enquiries from departments including sales, stores, administration, accounts, and payroll.
- Site visits. In line with client contractual requirement, all audits both SPR and H&S to be completed in line with contractual and business requirement, corrective action plans to be managed in the event of service failure
- Arranging maintenance and repair of cleaning equipment, ensure PAT testing compliance
- Pre-sale involvement before contract becomes operational, attending new client site meetings with Business Development Managers, managing TUPE transfer and recruitment of operatives as required by the contract, adhering to TUPE and HR compliance at all times.
- Provision of cover cleaning operatives, often at short notice and may require the Area Manager to attend site if cover operative cannot be sourced.
- Any other ad hoc duties and tasks required
People Leadership
§Ensure that regular formal and informal meetings are conducted with clients to identify issues or areas of concern and work closely with the wider Facilities Management team to suggest actions and resolve concerns and issues
§To identify internal potential and develop talent
§Hold regular meetings as required to engage, motivate & manage your teams in line with expectations.
§Hold and document 1-1 meetings/well-being meetings/return to work meetings with all direct line reports. (Director/HRBP to be provided with all meeting notes)
§To cascade Company targets, KPI’s and objectives to the Area Management team ensuring understanding of expectations and measurement.
§Ensure all colleagues complete all required training & compliance documents focused on Human Resources and safety and wellbeing.
§To coach, develop and mentor all direct reports to deliver brilliant cleaning standards.
§To support and coach all direct reports to find solutions to employee issues, in line with HR advise
§To ensure Managers understand their roles, responsibilities and what is expected of them.
§To complete and submit all necessary paperwork accurately and on time ensuring sign off where required of completed tasks.
§To deliver continuous improvement by sharing learning and best practice across the region in a structured and coaching environment with the assistance from Heads of Departments
